Entrepreneurial Management is the second largest academic unit at HBS, and its home is the Arthur Rock Center for Entrepreneurship (‘the center of what’s next”). About half of HBS graduates will be entrepreneurs at some point in their careers.
One of the Center’s signature programs is Rock Summer Fellowships. HBS selects promising MBA students who spend the summer between first and second years at startups or pursuing their own entrepreneurial vision. These Fellows receive a stipend, in addition to invaluable firsthand experience of the challenges and rewards of this path.
In 2015, HBSCNY is funding stipends for all the New York participants (18 this year!), as it did in 2014. This program is the best way for HBS students to test out entrepreneurship before graduating and, as a club, we are thrilled to support them in this endeavor.
