A day-long educational and networking symposium for leaders in the greater New York non-profit/social enterprise community.

Social enterprise trends in non-profit leadership and practices--local, national and global.

8:00am – 5:30pm;
Reception to follow from 5:30 – 7:30pm
ATTENDEES
400-500 CEOs, COOs, EDs and Board Chairs from non-profit organizations of differing sizes and types.
SESSIONS
12 Sessions in Total (see Program);
Each participant can attend 4
STRUCTURE
Multiple educational interactive sessions, each led by a moderator and panelists.
TOPIC AREAS
Accountability & Governance, Development & Marketing,
and Management & Strategy. Overall networking through group breakfast,
lunch, coffee breaks, and a networking cocktail reception to end the day.
HBS alumni currently working at or on the boards of New York area
non-profit organizations will be invited to the evening reception.
DISCUSSION LEADERS & PANELISTS
Selected from HBS Professors; HBS alumni of stature
working in non-profit oriented service firms-law, financial, consulting;
and special guests selected for their expertise in particular fields.
ON-LINE
HBSCNY will produce a real-time blog that will be simultaneously
broadcast on display monitors at the Harvard Club, on the HBSCNY website,
and other Harvard Business School on-line platforms.
TAKE-AWAYS
Written short summaries of all track sessions will be prepared, bound and distributed to all attendees within three weeks of the event. These summaries will be made available to all Club members at no cost, and sold to non-members at minimal cost plus shipping. Organizations must attend to receive.
