HBS Alumni are invited to enjoy Rock of Ages on Broadway with exclusive behind-the-scenes access and a conversation with cast members following the show. The Club has a limited number of seats for the show on Tuesday August 14th at 7:00pm.
Nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Rock of Ages features the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit, and Sherrie, a small-town girl, living near LA's Sunset Strip in 1987 chasing their dreams to make it big in music. Rock of Ages tells their love story through some of the most classic rock hits from the 1980s including those from Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Steve Perry, and Poison, among others. Not to be outdone, the Rock of Ages cast set a new Guinness World Record for the Largest Air Guitar Ensemble in June 2009 with a total of 810 participants, including audience members and fans, which shattered the previous record of 440 people playing air guitars simultaneously.
