Bios

Maneesha Ghiya (MBA 2005)

Managing Partner, FemHealth Ventures

Maneesha is the Managing Partner at FemHealth Ventures, a women’s health-focused venture capital firm. She has been investing in healthcare for over 20 years both as a venture capitalist and as an investor at hedge funds. She has held healthcare-focused investment roles at JPMorgan Partners, Kingdon Capital, and Highline Capital. Maneesha has invested $1 B+ in a multitude of public and private healthcare companies within therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics, and digital health.

She earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, a B.S.E. from The Wharton School, and a B.A.S. from Penn Engineering. Her undergraduate work was in the highly selective dual-degree Management & Technology Program (“M&T”) at the University of Pennsylvania from which she graduated summa cum laude.

Maneesha serves as a Board Member for the M&T Executive Board at the University of Pennsylvania and on the Board of Directors for HealthyWomen.org, a leading health information source for millions of women. She is also on the Board of Directors of BioAesthetics Corporation. Maneesha is a Senior Advisor for ExSight Ventures and a Judge for startup competitions, including Harvard Business School VC Day. She serves on the Board of the University of Pennsylvania Metro Club of New Jersey and is a member of Impact100 Essex which focuses on local causes chosen by women. In her spare time, Maneesha enjoys skiing with her family and spinning.

Marissa Steinmetz (MBA 2013)

Director, eCommerce Product and Data Science Lead at Pernod Ricard

Marissa is an accomplished digital manager with 10+ years of ecommerce and omnichannel expertise. She is currently the Director of eCommerce Product Management & Data Science at Pernod Ricard and has spent her career helping well-known brands and businesses transform their digital enterprises, including Moda Operandi, Drunk Elephant, Target, Mondelez International, and BulbHead.com.

Prior to entering the tech world, Marissa was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers during the financial crisis of 2008 as well as a strategy and management consultant at Alvarez & Marsal.

Marissa earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and received her Bachelors of Science degree cum laude in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.

Marissa serves as an advisor to a number of startups across FinTech (Coverr, Activest), MarTech (IntentX, Numentica), and Retail (Fivestory, BenLido).

Jordan Taylor (MBA 2018)

CEO & Co-Founder, Medley

Jordan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Medley, a company that harnesses the power of groups to help people grow. Jordan’s purpose is to create teams and groups where people can be their true selves. She co-founded Medley because throughout her life, she’s felt the power that comes from being part of a team, and felt the void when it’s missing. Medley is backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Aglaé Ventures, and several leading angel investors.

Prior to founding Medley, Jordan worked in media as Chief of Staff at Mic and was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. She received her AB from Harvard College and her MBA from Harvard Business School, where she was a Baker Scholar.
