The Harvard Business School Latino Alumni Association (HBSLAA) invites you to join us for our annual Latino banquet celebrating our Latino community. This event honors and encourages leadership in business and in the greater Latino community. This year, HBSLAA is thrilled to have a special guest, Nitin Nohria, Dean at the Harvard Business School at the banquet this year. We will also have Keynote Speaker Ramon Laguarta, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at PepsiCo. The event will take place at the Harvard Club in New York on April 3, 2020.

Dean Nitin Nohria

Harvard Business School Dean

Nitin Nohria became the tenth dean of Harvard Business School on 1 July 2010. He previously served as co-chair of the Leadership Initiative, Senior Associate Dean of Faculty Development, and Head of the Organizational Behavior unit.

As Dean, building on input from faculty, students, staff, and alumni, he has identified five priorities for Harvard Business School: innovation in the School’s educational programs; intellectual ambition that advances ideas with impact in practice; continued internationalization, through building a global intellectual footprint; creating a culture of inclusion, where every member of the community can do their best work in support of the School’s mission; and fostering a culture of integration within HBS and across Harvard University.

Ramon Laguarta is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo. PepsiCo products are enjoyed by consumers more than one billion times a day in more than 200 countries and territories around the world, and in 2018 the company generated more than $64 billion in net revenue, driven by a complementary food and beverage portfolio that includes FritoLay, Gatorade, Pepsi-Cola, Quaker and Tropicana. PepsiCo’s product portfolio includes 22 brands that generate more than $1 billion each in estimated annual retail sales.

Ramon, a 23-year PepsiCo veteran, has served as CEO since October 3, 2018, and Chairman of the Board since February 1, 2019.
