Annual Princeton-HBS Startup Showcase

Thu, 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Alumni Angels

Description

HBSAANY partners with leading Universities, Alumni Associations, Angels Groups, Affinity Groups, and Accelerators on joint Startup Showcase events highlighting entrepreneurs and their companies. These events are generally open to the public, and not limited to just accredited investors, since there is no formal funding solicitation. Fundraising will not be discussed at this event.

We are just three weeks away from the annual Princeton-Harvard Business School Startup Showcase! We look forward to welcoming you on Zoom at 6pm ET on Thursday, July 14th. We will have presentations from the six dynamic startups below, Q&A from our panel of judges from HBS Alumni Angels of Greater New York and Princeton Alumni Angels, an audience choice vote, and Zoom breakout rooms in which you can connect individually with each startup founder. The judges’ winner will receive special consideration for upcoming pitch nights by HBSAA and PAA.

This event is free and open to all. Zoom information and reminders will be emailed to you prior to the event.

Featured startups:

Revela is a team of Harvard and Princeton scientists that use AI tools to search for unique and completely new molecules that hit at the root of the hair loss problem facing women. Sifting through millions of compounds, new ingredients have been discovered and clinically tested to safely and effectively stimulate the actual hair follicle site and regenerate hair growth.

Wavely Diagnostics, led by a Princeton alumna, enables 69% of acute pediatric visits to shift to a virtual experience with smartphone-based medical diagnostics, starting with ear infections.

Exponent, co-founded by a Princeton alumnus, helps people land their dream job in tech and advance their tech careers with a comprehensive community-based learning platform. Trusted partners include Stanford, Wharton, Yale, UVA, Michigan and Duke.

TrueToForm, co-founded by Princeton and Dartmouth alumnae, is a digital workflow solution that enables scalable, made-to-measure apparel production. Its proprietary body scanning app obtains accurate body data and generates custom avatars that integrate directly with existing 3D design workflows.

Project Plastic, co-founded by two Princeton alumni, is developing the world's first device for removing microplastics from rivers. Our waters are polluted with over 600 million tons of plastic, 80% of which enter via rivers. Once in the water, plastics break down into microscopic pieces that are almost impossible to detect or collect. Until now.

Proxi, co-founded by a trio of female leaders (including a Princeton alumna), is building an infrastructure of niche, mapped guides to local areas. Easy to use, brandable and shareable, Proxi maps are used by hospitality professionals and influencers to gain unique insight into customer conversion.
