Music & Memory uses music to help people with dementia. Their program creates playlists, provides equipment and trains caregivers. The program has been medically successful and has been adopted by numerous continuing care facilities. This fall, a major academic (longitudinal) study will be published that quantifies how well M&M’s program has worked. M&M wants to capitalize on this to expand to home-based caregivers. It also would like to recruit a Board of Advisors to improve the organization’s skills, particularly in marketing and finance.
