The Federal Reserve Bank of NY: Changes and Challenges
The HBS Club of New York Senior Program Committee is pleased to offer the opportunity to visit the fortress-like Federal Reserve Bank of New York in lower Manhattan. We will have a tour and participate in a panel discussion dealing with the evolving changes in the regulatory landscape.
Tour and Lunch
A tour of the FRB includes the compact Museum and a visit to the renowned Gold Vault and viewing the gold in great quantity in subterranean vaults. Following the tour, lunch will be offered, buffet style with a variety of dishes (including grilled chicken, sandwiches, salads, and desserts) in the new 13th floor Conference Center at the Bank.
Presentation by Senior Staff of the Supervision Group of the FRB
There is much to learn regarding the role the FRB plays in ensuring the safety and soundness of our financial system. We will hear from a panel of experts on topics ranging from cybersecurity, small and large bank supervision, including a PhD economist who is an HBS graduate. Please provide any questions in advance.
Please note no refunds will be given.
