Description

Do you face important business and personal challenges in your life? Could you benefit from your own private “board of directors” focused on your success? If so, HBS Forums may be for you.

Modeled after peer support groups from Young Presidents Organization and Entrepreneurs Organization, HBS Forums brings together small groups of alumni to help your business career and family life prosper. Whether dealing with the effects of economic challenges on your business, aging parents or even sudden success, an HBS Forum offers you a safe, completely confidential environment for discussing the issues most important to you.

HBS forums and other peer support groups provide a safe place where you can get real, where you can be honest about the difficulties you are having, and where you can share the fear of failure which causes so many people to self- destruct. Having this kind of group in your life is invaluable. – HBS Professor Bill George, former CEO of Medtronic

In this highly experiential session, Barry Kaplan will help participants explore the power of vulnerability to unleash personal transformation and achieve life success. You will:
– Learn how creating a culture that cultivates vulnerability and authenticity can help you tap into your full potential and build high performing teams
– Experience firsthand why forums and peer support groups are the secret advantage of successful leaders
– Take home tools that you can put to use immediately at work and in your personal life to make yourself a better leader, partner, parent, friend and mentor

Who is the program for?
– For those who want to experience the advantages of peer-to-peer support and get a “taste” of HBS Forums
– For existing peer support group members (HBS Forums, Alumnae Circles, YPO forums, and others) to meet others participating in peer programs and gain new skills
– For all alumni who are interested in personal growth and learning techniques that are applicable to their daily lives

The event will be facilitated by a team of YPO and HBS forum experts.
