Pitching is a universal skill and never more important than during a career search— when you’re asked the seemingly simple, yet loaded question, “Tell me about yourself.” You never know when an opportunity will arise so it is important to have your pitch prepared. Please join two HBS career coaches for an interactive session to help you plan and practice how you pitch yourself, your story, and your ideas.

Participants must register by Noon on February 1st to receive details on joining the discussion. The Zoom link will be sent out 24 hours before the event.

Kendall Borges is the Senior Associate Director of Career Coaching and Programming in Career & Professional Development (CPD) at Harvard Business School.

Kendall oversees and trains a roster 50+ career coaches supporting 1,900 students and over 80,000 alumni throughout every step of their unique career journeys. Kendall creates and manages a portfolio of in-person and virtual programs designed to support 80,000+ HBS alumni. Kendall coaches HBS students and alumni actively making career transitions as well as those seeking more purpose and meaning in their lives.

Certified Executive Leadership Coach Director Harvard Business School Career Office

Laurie is a certified executive leadership coach, as well as a Director in the Harvard Business School Career Office. Her private practice is Grit & Grace Leadership Coaching. Whether working with clients on aspects of their development as leaders, or on navigating a particular career juncture, Laurie helps clients crack their own codes to figure out how to make the most of their professional and life choices. Especially in times of challenge and change, whatever a client’s goals, Laurie’s focus is on helping them move forward with greater understanding and confidence. She holds an MBA and Ed. M. from Harvard, and a BA from Bowdoin College. She lives in Boston’s South End with her husband, their two Portuguese Water Dogs, and one amazing cat.
