We will include examples from March 2020 and the COVID-19 Pandemic, forced divestitures from traditional US banks, and the emergence of fintech companies (like SoFi) to fill-in the gaps and change the game.

David Knox, CFA, is Senior Director of Capital Markets at SoFi, a global financial technology company headquartered in the United States. Based in New York City, Mr. Knox is responsible for managing the economics strategy and monetization of SoFi’s lending business across multiple products and channels. Mr. Knox has held positions across the financial services spectrum including insurance, asset management, private equity, portfolio management, investment banking, and fintech. Mr. Knox is a specialist in mortgage-backed and asset-backed finance, having participated in hundreds of billions of dollars in securitization transactions over the last 10 years.
