Founded in 1920, the HBS Club of NY is the alumni organization for the 15,000+ HBS alumni residing in the Greater NY area. We are a unique and powerful platform for alumni of HBS to use their leadership skills, learn for a lifetime, and make a meaningful difference with fellow alumni in areas of mutual interest.
The Club offers a remarkably wide range of activities that benefit our alumni, the community, and HBS. These include over 80+ events annually, pro bono consulting services to nonprofits, local small businesses, and start-ups; angel investing; and Alumni Forums.
This engagement will seek an analysis of what both members and non-members alumni value about the HBS Club and how they evaluate engaging and becoming a member or renewing membership.
The objective of the project is to:
- Conduct targeted research to refresh and expand findings about needs and perceptions from the HBS alumni community.
- Analyze data on membership and engagement e.g. members’ historical participation, and volunteer activity.
- Conduct retrospective research through interviews with HBSCNY leadership.
- Drive towards actionable recommendations for membership and engagement.
