The Northeast U.S./New York Region invites you to participate in this year’s HBS New Venture Competition. The competition starts at the regional level in New York City, after which the winner will advance to the global finals with a chance to win over $100,000 in cash prizes!

The Harvard Business School Club of New York NVC Committee will provide mentors to all applicants throughout the application process and will select the top applications to pitch their ventures to our panel of judges at the New Venture Regional Finals.

TOUGH TECH PRIZE
The Rock Center in collaboration with the HBS Digital, Health Care, and Business and Environment Initiatives, offers the Tough Technology Prize (pdf) as part of the HBS New Venture Competition. Through our collective efforts, we want to recognize (co)founders where the venture has challenging proof-points of development typical of tough technology ventures.

Tough Tech ventures are those working on transformative technology that solves the world’s most important challenges through the convergence of breakthrough science, engineering, and leadership. It can also be thought of as being a breakthrough idea in which founders and investors are not likely to realize an early profit.

If you believe that your venture is eligible to be considered for the Tough Tech Prize, then you will find an option to self-select your venture for this prize in the application form.

8-10 global finalists are notified and invited to pitch at NVC Finale event

TUESDAY MARCH 30, 2021 – NVC Finale – Global Final Rounds take place. Winners are announced at the Finale show.
