Hope’s Door prevents, responds to, and partners to end domestic violence and other forms of abuse. It has served Westchester County for 40 years and provides a 24/7/365 crisis support and information hotline and emergency shelter to ensure individuals are safe from the threat of violence. It also offers counseling, advocacy and legal services for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. Its services are provided free of charge to victims and survivors. It relies on the generosity of private and corporate donors and federal, state and county grants.

Hope’s Door believes the strategic planning process will affirm that its mission is vital and relevant to the community but potentially prompts revisions. Conducting strategic planning interviews with the board, staff and stakeholders will enable it to revisit the direction of its mission and refine its vision.
