HBS ALUMNI ANGEL START-UP SHOWCASE

Description for HAE Entrepreneurs:

HAE-NYC is excited to announce that applications for our Summer 2023 Startup Showcase to HBS Alumni Angels of NYC, exclusive to any HAE member, will open this Friday, May 12th!

This will be the first of at least two showcases. We've divided startups into two groups* (see below) to streamline the process and give more entrepreneurs the chance to showcase their work. All applications will be reviewed by a panel of angel investors, and 6 will be chosen to present their startups at the June 28 Showcase event.

To apply to present at this showcase, start-ups must have one person in leadership who is a current HAE member, and be able to demonstrate some provable traction (proof of concept, prototype, pipeline, revenue, profit, positive consumer response, funding, etc).

For our June 28th 2023 showcase, we are accepting applications from any of the following industries:

• AR/VR,
• blockchain/security,
• clean tech,
• fintech,
• IoT,
• finance/legal,
• software,
• sports,
• transportation,
• business/industrial

*There will be a second showcase in early fall 2023 for: consumer products, digital health, edutech, fashion tech, food/beverage, HR Tech, medical, media, real estate, retail, and travel.

We anticipate having two to three showcases per year exclusive to HAE members. As such we encourage all founders to attend the June 28th showcase to get a feel for the process and improve the chance to present themselves.
