VIRTUAL – How to Navigate Your Next Act During this Pandemic

Thu, 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Zoom Webinar
Alumni OnlyCentennial

Description

To celebrate the Harvard Business School Club of New York’s 100-year anniversary, we created the Success to Significance series – a year’s worth of club activities to help the HBS alumni community in NYC grow their impact. The webinar tonight is part of this series and focused on supporting individuals who are looking to navigate their next professional act.

In this webinar, Robert Hellmann of Hellmann Career Consulting will share with you the strategic and tactical advice he’s giving concerned jobseekers, career advancers and those seeking their “next act” during this challenging time.

The underlying theme: use this time wisely now to set yourself up for quick success later, once the economy starts to rebound. In particular, he’ll cover:

  • How to tap into the hidden job market by building career-advancing relationships now
  • A method for getting organized, keeping in touch and contact management so that no opportunities pass you by
  • How to conduct a virtual informational meeting that will get you interviews and referrals
  • Job search benchmarks to use in ensuring you’re playing the “numbers game” to win
  • If you’re currently employed, what to do now to prepare just in case
  • Observing “pandemic etiquette,” and other ways to drive new revenue as soon as possible

You’ll leave this webinar with specific steps you can execute immediately as well as with a foundational strategy that you can use in the future.

Please note that no refunds will be issued.
