Visit to Asia Society with a Tour of the Masterpieces of the Museum Collection
Description
Guests will tour “Masterpieces from the Asia society Museum Collection”. This exhibition features a selection of the finest artworks from the renowned Asia Society Museum Collection. Included are Chinese, Korean, and Japanese ceramics; Indian and Cambodian sculpture, and sculptures from South and Southeast Asia and the Himalayas. The presentation will include the history of the collection and its place in the history of the Asia Society.
The tour will be led by Nancy Blume, Head of Arts Education. Adriana Proser, the John H. Foster Senior Curator for Traditional Asian Art, will speak to our group about Mr. & Mrs. John D. Rockefeller III and their association with the Asian Society.
