Dr. Diana Han

Chief Medical Officer, VP Global Health at Unilever

Diana serves as Unilever’s VP, Global Health and Chief Medical Officer. Her team has responsibility for the health of Unilever’s 150,000 employees around the world. Prior to Unilever, Diana was the Chief Medical Officer for GE Appliances, where she oversaw global healthcare delivery, as well as the company’s health and leave benefits

Earlier in her career, Diana held senior positions at Carewise Health and Humana. At Carewise, she served as VP, Clinical Strategy and Innovation, focusing on developing new products, services, and partnerships for the employer health and wellness markets. At Humana, Diana led the company’s clinical product and service innovation, with a focus on leveraging new technologies and partners.

Diana trained in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. She received her medical degree with distinction from the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine.

As the Vice President of Innovation, Mariya led Anthem’s efforts in scaling emerging technologies and new business models to accelerate Anthem’s transformation to a digital-first enterprise.

Prior to Anthem, Mariya drove the development of Deloitte’s Future of Work Center of Excellence, a portfolio of investments across the Americas, APAC, and EMEA that used exponential technologies (e.g. blockchain, artificial intelligence) to redefine the future of work.

Mariya holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics, summa cum laude, from Mount Holyoke College. She serves on the Board of Governors for the Harvard Business School Association of Boston.
