Join us in learning the ways of surviving and thriving in the treacherous world of distressed and high yield investing. Howard has pioneered areas of investing which were previously considered uninvestable, with clear thinking and sound investment principles. 
Howard will also address his management style and the strategies he has used building a sound, durable investment process and how he has made adjustments over time. Lastly and perhaps most importantly, Howard will provide his views on current investment opportunities and expectations over the next couple of years.

Howard Marks

Co-Chairman & Co-Founder of Oaktree Capital Management, L.P.

Marks was raised in Queens, New York, attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania for a BSc and the University of Chicago for an MBA. In  1995, with Bruce Karsh and three others, he founded Oaktree Capital Management. During the financial crisis of 2007-08, Oaktree raised $10.9 billion, the largest distressed debt fund in history, to buy distressed assets, which “paid off richly for his investors”.
