Alumni Startups OPEN POSITIONS
Marketing Chair: This person works toward achieving the marketing goals set for Alumni Startups. This person achieves these aims by:

- Attending HBSCNY Alumni Startups team meetings and participating in selected administrative initiatives.
- Work with HBSCNY Marketing Chair and consulting team to achieve the goals of Alumni Startups while staying within the brand guidelines of HBS and HBSCNY.
- Determine Marketing goals and Key Performance Indicators; including generating founder member signups and driving attendance to our quarterly events. Marketing is via email, social channels, and other alumni resources. Monthly reports & analysis encouraged.
- Develop clear visual flow and messaging across website, email, and social media to differentiate HBS Club NY Alumni Startups within the Harvard, HBS and NY startup ecosystems, and highlight ongoing activities correlated with our mission.
- Design a social media and marketing plan and execute the plan monthly with assistance of the HBSCNY Program Manager, Entrepreneurship, and staff. Direct an annual communications calendar, design choices, editing. Choose fresh content to share across Alumni Startups homepage, portal, newsletters and social media platforms.
The time commitment for this position is expected to be approximately 10-20 hours per month.
Events & Programming (Co)-Chair: This person works toward achieving the events-related goals set for Alumni Startups (including planning the Annual Alumni New Venture Competition and any other Startups events). This person achieves these aims by:

- Managing and building a team to plan annual and one-time events.
- Organizing and attending Startup events including NVC, breakfast series, lunch and learn and other entrepreneur-related activities.
- Working with the HBSCNY Programming team to identify events to co-sponsor.
- Identifying a plan and corresponding measurable goals and Key Performance Indicators for Events. Track and report on those monthly to Startups lead.
- Participating in Alumni Startups Leadership meetings.
- Participating in selected administrative initiatives.
The time commitment for this position is expected to be approximately 15-20 hours per month.
Advising Co-Chair: This person works toward achieving the Advising related goals set for Alumni Startups (managing the Startup Partners program). This person achieves these aims by:
- Recruiting companies to create a Founder Profile in our database.
- Recruiting HBS alumni volunteers to sign up to Advise in our database.
- Drafting language for marketing materials (website, flyers, e-mails, etc.) to or about volunteer Advisors.
- Enabling Founders and Advisors to continue connecting outside of our programs.
- Identify a plan and corresponding measurable goals and Key Performance Indicators for Advising Program. Track and report on those monthly to Startups Lead.
- Attend Startups Leadership meetings
- Participate in selected Startups administrative duties
The time commitment for this position is expected to be approximately 15-20 hours per month.
