HBSAB – The Business of Harvard Business School

Thu, 6:45 PM to 7:45 PM Virtual
Alumni OnlyLeadership and Governance

Description

For more than a century, Harvard Business School has shaped generations of leaders. But how is the School itself evolving to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world? Join Angela Crispi, Executive Dean for Administration and Senior Lecturer at Harvard Business School on February 12 to take a behind-the-scenes look at how the School has been navigating transformation given an everchanging technological and economic landscape.

Innovation has enabled HBS to broaden its reach, engaging learners with world class educators through online courses and digital platforms. At the same time, advances in artificial intelligence are opening new pathways for research, teaching and impact both inside and outside the classroom. Globally, HBS continues to innovate and deepen its presence through research centers and experiential courses that immerse students in real-world challenges.

Closer to home, the physical footprint of the University has also changed. With the opening of the Enterprise Research Center along Western Avenue, the construction of the new Art Repertory Theater on North Harvard Street, and the completion of the Science and Engineering Complex in 2020, the University has evolved southward—placing HBS at the heart of a rapidly growing Allston campus and an increasingly vibrant neighborhood.

This promises to be an illuminating evening at the intersection of strategy, infrastructure, and higher education leadership, offering alumni a deeper understanding of how HBS is positioning itself for the next half-century amid extraordinary change.

Participants must register by Noon on February 11th to receive details on joining the discussion. Please note that this is a live, on-campus event with a virtual component to include other alumni. We appreciate your patience as the Zoom link is being activated.

Please note that no refunds will be issued.

By registering for this event you agree to abide by the HBSCNY Code of Conduct for yourself and your guests (read here).
